We want it to be of public record that people of all skin colors and
heritages are welcome here.
We want it be known that those who suffer from addiction to drugs and
alcohol (whether recovering or not), and their families are welcome here.
We want it to be known that women and children are welcome here and that
they will not be harassed or abused.
We want it to be public record that in this congregation you can bring children to worship and even if they cry during the entire service, they are welcome.
What We Believe...
We are a United Methodist Church and proud of that fact. For
information on the United Methodist Church, check out
www.umc.org.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe
in the Trinity – that God makes himself available to us in
three ways – as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe
in the resurrection of the dead, a literal heaven and hell.
We believe that all who believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord
receive a glorious eternity in that heaven where we will
encounter Jesus and dwell with him face to face. We believe
the Holy Bible is God’s written word to us given for
instruction and to lead us into eternal life. We believe in
the Apostles Creed. We abide by the United Methodist
“Book of Discipline” and seek to live in the world and with
the world’s people through the precepts of the Bible and the
philosophy of the church’s “Book of Resolutions”.
