J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
What's J.A.M.?
J.A.M. stands for Jesus and Me and is a program for 4th and 5th graders. It provides a space for kids who may be feeling too old for children's ministry and yet still too young for the youth program, but also challenges their faith and encourages them to grow. Building relationships is a value that has high regard here at FUMC of Plant City and why we strive to provide a space for kids to do that among friends.
What do kids do at JAM?
J.A.M. is one Friday a month from 7:00-9:00p.m. in the J.A.M. room. As kids arrive, they can hang out and socialize with each other, play games, or just chit-chat with each other. Each month there is a theme for the night and all the activities and discussion are so that these children can grow and be challenged. Lots of friendships are made and existing friendships have a safe place to flourish.
Next J.A.M. is Friday, June 8th
Lock in!
A night full of fun filled crazy games and activities for those children that will be entering 5th & 6th grade. Make sure that you have a sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, personal hygiene items, and any other snacks or games you may want to share. The children need to be dropped on time as the doors will be locked at 8:00p.m. and they also need to be picked up no later than 8:00 a.m. the next morning.
