Christ Community Cafe'

   We are beginning a "feed the need" ministry here at the church.  The "Community Team", consisting of members of 4 different churches (so far) met on Tuesday, the 4^th of January.  We will be "hosting" our very first community out-reach meal to those in need on February 4^th, 2011 from 11:30-1:00 in the Wesley Centre. 

The menu will be nutritious and donated by Buddy Bass (Manna on Wheels).  First Church will provide the drinks.  I will need volunteers to help welcome and serve our guests as well as to clean up after the meal.  We will be offering this lunch every Friday from 11:30-1:00.  We have also discussed funding for this project and welcome your ideas.  Our next meeting is January 21^st at 9 AM in the Library.  You are welcome to attend! 

Below is a sign-up sheet to volunteer.  Just print, sign and put in the offering plate or hand to Nancy Chaney.  The Community Team will draw on all volunteers from the other churches and community so that no one will be asked to serve every Friday---unless you want to!
